This listing is for a fully dried Hemlock Wood Slice that my husband has hand cut from logs. Each Hemlock Slice will more than likely have a crack from the drying process. The Hemlock Tree has a rich history here in Northern Wisconsin, as its bark was harvested for the use of tanning animal hides. Each wood slice will have one side sanded smooth and the other side will be a rough cut, which gives you two different looks for decorating.

Today, our customers love the Hemlock's rustic look and use the wood slices as centerpieces or displaying a cake on at their weddings or holiday gatherings. They then make a great keepsake for you to use for years to come.

Each wood slice will be made with untreated wood and may vary slightly. Since this is a natural product; the wood may be cracked and the bark may be separated away from the wood. Each wood slice is unique and not perfectly round. The bark on the branches of a tree can vary in color. We make each wood slice from fallen trees, here at The Flower Patch in North Central Wisconsin.
